You watched 47 reels today. Learned 12 fascinating facts. Saved 6 posts that might change your life.
Congratulations. Your brain has become a very sophisticated squirrel.
Here’s the problem: collecting information isn’t the same as understanding something.
Understanding happens when ideas connect. When something suddenly clicks. When you stop saying “Interesting!” and start saying “Holy shit, that changes how I see things.”
That’s what a good book does.
Not because books are magical. Most aren’t. Some are just very long LinkedIn posts wearing hardcover jackets.
But a short, insightful book that takes one important question and helps you genuinely understand it?
That’s intellectual nutrition.
And perhaps that’s why I find Knowelia so interesting. Its little books, called Knowles, aren’t trying to impress you with how much information they contain.
They’re trying to leave you with something far more valuable: a different brain than the one you arrived with.
Go read one.
Your squirrel deserves an upgrade (and my brother some more readers…)
